Firefox Tabs on bottom - customize Firefox tabs

In this Tutorial i show u, how to get the tabs back to the bottom very easy. Because in the newer Versions of Firefox the most Skin Addons not still working and the tabs on top and no option there, but whis that little trick, u get the tabs back to bottom.

 

Manual:

​

1. Go to Start/Run (if u dont have it there search on "all programs".

2. In Run u write %appdata% then press ok.

3. Now u in the path "user/Appdata/Roaming",

       so u navigate now to "Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/yourprofile.default" in that folder you make

       a rightclick, then u create a new folder there, name the folder "chrome".

   4. Then u must create a new .css file,

        for that u need a program like Notepad++ (click here for  download).

        Then copy & paste that text in the Notepad file:

 

       #TabsToolbar { -moz-box-ordinal-group: 2; } #nav-bar{ border-top-width: 0px !important; }

    5. Now u press on "File/Save as" and u name the file "userChrome.css",

         on bottom u choice the option ".css" & save it.

    6. The new .css file copy or move it now in the chrome folder.

    7. Open Firefox, now your tabs should be back to bottom.

        But because the buttons (minimize, full, close) on the right upside a bit bugy, u can fix

        that with 2ways.

     8. Go in the skin option of Firefox, then on the downside make a mark on "titelbar".

          Or u just make a rightclick on a empty place on the upside of Firefox

           and actived "Menubar".

          On both ways the bug should be gone. So you have your tabs on

           bottom without any bug. :-) Just for case if u want tabs back on top, just delete the

           chrome folder or the css file and its back to top.

In diesem Tutorial zeig ich euch, wie ihr ganz einfach die tabs wieder von oben, nach unten verschieben könnt. Da es ja bei den neueren Versionen von Firefox nicht mehr geht & die meisten Addons ja auch nicht mehr funktionieren. Aber mit diesem Trick bekommt ihr sie dennoch wieder nach unten.

 

Anleitung:

1. Clickt auf Start/Ausführen (wenn ihr es dort nicht habt sucht is unter "alle Programme".

2. In Ausführen schreibt ihr %appdata% und drückt ok.

3. Jetz seit ihr im Pfad "user/Appdata/Roaming",

       ihr navigiert zu "Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/deinprofil.default" in diesem Ordner macht ihr

       einen rechtsklick, dann erstellt ihr einen neuen Ordner mit dem Namen "chrome".

   4. Jetzt erstellt ihr eine neue .css file,

        dafür benötigt ihr ein Programm wie z.B. Notepad++ (Hier klicken zum Download).

        Dann kopiert ihr den folgenden Text in die Notepad file rein:

    5. Dann geht ihr oben auf "File/Save as" und ihr benennt die file in "userChrome.css",

        unten in der Option wählt ihr ".css" & speichert es.

    6. Die neue css file kopiert oder schiebt ihr nun in den chrome Ordner.

    7. Öffnet nun Firefox & eure Tabs sollten unten sein.

        Allerdings sind nun oben rechts die Buttons (minimieren, vollbild, schliessen) verbugt.

        Dies könnt ihr aber ganz einfach mit 2Wegen beheben.

    8. Entweder ihr geht in die Anpassen Option von Firefox & aktiviert unten "Titelleiste".

        Oder ihr macht einfach einen rechtsklick oben auf eine freie Fläche in Firefox & aktivert

        "Menüleiste".

         Egal welchen der beiden Wege ihr benutzt der Bug sollte nun weg sein & alles normal,

         eure tabs sind nun unten & alles prima. :-)

         Für den fall das ihr es wieder Rückgänig machen wollt & eure tabs wieder oben haben

         wollt, ihr müsst dafür einfach nur die file aus dem Ordner oder den Ordner löschen, dann

         sind die tabs wieder oben.
